Nature based preschoolers on a bridge in nature

Welcome to Monticello Nature Based Program!

Monticello Nature-Based Education is part of the Monticello Public Schools located at the Bertram Chain of Lakes Regional Park. We currently provide classes for Pre-K and Kindergarten students. Nature Based students are immersed in the outdoors each day. Students learn and play outside, using their environment to achieve the same learning standards as their peers do in a brick-and-mortar setting. Nature is our classroom!

*All roster spots for 2026-27 Nature Based Kindergarten program are filled.
